Musicnotes Player is very easy software for listening, playing and printing digital sheet music (*.mtd files).
User can click any note or chord and listen individually to it, anytime, or play (and listen) the whole composition, adjusting tempo to a desired 'speed'. This is very useful for music beginners to learn at a personal pace. While playing the complete composition, notes and lyrics bright at the same time music is playing, on the digital sheet.
Digital sheets can be seen and printed (music, lyrics and tablatures) and the offered selection is over 25000 Musicnotes titles. User can search the web looking for titles and downlod them to her(his) system, by accessing a music encyclopedia that is interactive, for later playing or for printing and accumulate a proper digital sheet music collection.
For listening or playing, user can select especific phrases or instrument.
User interface (easy to use) offers to select which part has to be seen and played: in a piano, horn and bassoon, user can select one of the instruments or all of them to play and see their progress.
For guitar players, the application includes a practical guitar tuner, string by string. The guitar tablatures (physical string notation) are shown below the music notation, and the user can see the music progress at the music notation, at the tabs only or both. Midi simulation is very useful.
The application can download and play Musicnotes digital music sheets (generated by Musicnotes) and Scorch Digital Sheet Music (digital sheet music, generated by Sibelius' Scorch software), that is very similar to Musicnotes. Both can be previewed and printed dirctly from the download page, but the Scorch doesn't include a file, so it cannot be saved to user system, because of publisher restrictions.
For digital sheet music that consists of several pages, the application will play the whole composition, without any stop, page by page.
Music sheet can be adjusted to fit the application window totally or only in witdth. Sound volume can be adjusted anytime, as well as the tempo, by keyboard hotkeys preselected.
